BREAKING NEWS
As of July 19, 2012, The Innocence Project of Texas is looking into Elizabeth Burke's case.
Meet Elizabeth Burke
Elizabeth Jane Burke has been an inmate in Gatesville, Texas since 2003. Despite the fact that she was sentenced to 77 years in prison for the smothering death of her seven-week-old son, who passed away on October 14, 2002, new evidence has since arisen calling into question Elizabeth's incarceration.
On this site you will find information on Elizabeth's life; the death of her son, Ian; her arrest; her trial; her conviction; her incarceration; and the information that has come to light since that makes it clear that this woman has been wrongfully convicted.
